Finding Good Framework
Three categories of relationship: "For you" (because they believe in you, out of loyalty), "Against you" (because they have to, were told to, or are reacting), and "With you" (the roundtable, the circle, shared influence where everyone is seated at the fire). Most people have never experienced what "with" actually feels like — and they don't have tools that create it.
For/Against/With is the felt diagnosis that names the presenting problem every leader recognizes immediately. "With" is what you lose when you look in the wrong direction. The For/Against/With frame opens the door to hidden influence and circles. It doesn't replace the underlying problem — it names the felt cost. Every Finding Good engagement begins here: helping a leader see where their team is, and building the conditions for genuine "with."
